18th Meeting of the Study Group on a European Civil Code in Athens

The Study Group held its 18th Coordinating Group Meeting from 11th until 14th June 2008 in Athens. The Conference was held at the University of Athens. The working agenda encompassed subjects on loan agreements, proprietary security rights, transfer of property in movables,trusts, donation and final matters on the Draft Common Frame of Reference. During the four day Conference, Members of the Study Group have been honoured by special evening receptions given by the Mayor of the City of Athens, Mr. Nikitas M. Kaklamanis in the City Hall of Athens, by the Union of Greek Civil Law Jurists in the Old University of Athens and by the Departement of Law of the University of Athens at the Academic Club. At the end of the Meeting Members enjoyed a farewell dinner in Cape Sounio, organised by the Study Goup`s Greek hosts: Professors Eugenia Dacoronia and Konstantinos Kerameus.
